"Clustering by fast search and find of density peaks"是今年6月份在《Science》期刊上发表的的一篇论文,论文中提出了一种非常巧妙的聚类算法。经过几天的努力,终于用Java实现了文中的算法,下面与大家分享一下自己对算法的理解及实现过程中遇到的问题和解决办法。凡事都有第一次,至少要尝试才有更深的感悟,先将去年八月份写的原始代码贴出来,期间参考了论文作者的Matlab代码和网上的一些资料。

This repository contains code for implementation of Convolutional Neural Network(CNN). We used the same features that we learned on 8X8 patches sampled from images from the STL-10 dataset in linear decoder exercise. The CNN has been trained on reduced STL-10 dataset. This dataset comprises 64X64 images from 4 classes (airplane, car, cat, dog). You can download the dataset from http://deeplearning.stanford.edu/wiki/index.php/Exercise:Convolution_and_Pooling The entire code has been written in Matlab. In summary, this project seeks to explore the science behind Neural Networks (NN), its various flavours, application areas and then finally, narrow down by applying it in the design and development of a computer vision system which can be used for traffic sign recognition and detection in autonomous vehicles. The project starts off by designing, developing, implementing and testing a model of the proposed vision system on a CPU using MATLAB and then afterwards, the performance of the implemented vision system is further optimized through vectorization, parallelism, legacy coding and heterogeneous computing. The project is concluded with detailed analysis and evaluation of the various optimization schemes utilized as well as an evaluation of the excellent Neural Network’s classification accuracy.

The paper proposes a system for hand movement recognition using multi-channel electromyographic (EMG) signals obtained from the forearm surface. This system can be potentially used to control prostheses or to provide input to a wide range of human computer interface systems. The developed methods were tested with the publicly available NINAPro database.
