I read that to bypass the issue with age restricted videos (#28 i believe) I should go to Settings -> YTLite -> Player and enable “skip content warning”, but I do not seem to have the Player section.

Clicking on the blank space does nothing.

Surely the option for the progress bar is enabled in settings, but unfortunately it doesn't always show up.
Sometimes, when it doesn't show up, it comes back when you press pause.

Would it be possible to reinstate YTSpeed options that has just been removed from YTLitePlus. Reason being is that YTSpeed has the additional speed settings of 3.25 and 3.75x which I use quite frequently.

I have enabled the VP9 codec in settings but from the stats VP9 codec is used only for 2k/4k resolution. I know that the difference of video size between VP9 and AVC under 2k res is not as significant as that of 2k/4k res. But I still want to force VP9 codec for all res as it is on the official Youtube app and uYouPlus 18.14.1-3.0. Could anyone tell me how to do that or we need to wait for a future release?

Not sure if I'm just missing a setting but I haven't seen anyone else mention that shorts have started appearing recently without something changing. I disabled them for a while and then shorts reappeared, so I updated to the most current IPA and am having the same issue still. Thanks!

When Skip Content Warning is turned off, the video with content warning would not play. When it’s turned on, it works fine and skips the content warning.

An additional problem is in both scenarios, the video recommendations on the side bar does not load for videos with content warning.

As you also know the existing issue with YTLite with Shorts [also mentioned in release: Shorts are not hidden everywhere (problem with YTLite tweak)].

If you click a Shorts clip in the Homepage to open, then the YouTube just crashes.

Edit: Just found that even when you click on the Shorts tab in the Navigation bar makes the YT crash, it's everywhere where the Shorts available.

Let me just start off by saying thank you so much for your hard work on this app. I really appreciate it.

So I often like to use YouTube to play music on my phone, sometimes while I'm browsing the web or making notes on my phone at the same time. I always have PiP turned off because I don't like it. However, I just noticed that although I have the PiP option disabled, the PiP still pops up for some videos only when I switch apps or go to the home screen. I'm not sure why it consistently pops up for some videos and not others, but I'll include a number of videos that I've noticed the problem with.

I did try enabling the legacy PiP option to see if that changed anything - it didn't seem to.

Just like in uyouplus. You can change speed by just clicking the + and - button which is below the next/previous video button. And fullscreen shorts says it all.

Youtube's automatic resolution settings often select inconsistent resolutions in the same situation.

I would like the option to set a default resolution for playback on each WiFi and mobile connection.

1. When you go to the community posts tab in a channel they will show the community posts but when you tap them they change to other posts, and as soon as you try to scroll they all disappear and won't load anymore.

2. For community posts featured in the home tab you can view the small thumbnail and text without issue but as soon as you tap on it to go into the post to view the full contents/comments, it will flash the content for 1 second then goes blank and won't load.

3. All these work normal in the normal YouTube app, I've tried multiple channels, tried reconnecting my WiFi, restarting the app, restarting my iPad, but the issue persists.

2. Find a community post under Recent posts in the home tab (which might not be easy idk when YouTube decides to show them they are not always there), click on the post to view the contents

Is it possible for you to make a scarlet repo? I use scarlet with my custom certificate and, while altstore repos can load in scarlet, they dont really work well (installed apps will disappear from the installed app list upon restarting). You can find Scarlets repo format here:

I wanted to suggest if it's possible to toggle automatic subtitles/CC off, as in some video's it is turned on by default (yes on desktop i unchecked both options so it won't appear there, but it still does on my iDevice).

I'll mention @PoomSmart as he has various youtube tweaks under his belt if he likes the idea ofcours.

Well. The options are broken once again and here is how I’m gonna describe them.

OLED Dark Theme: OLED Doesn’t work in the Video Player Overflow Menu which includes Quality, Playback Speed, Captions & Audio Track (only effects the version 18.19.1 or later)

Old Dark Theme: The old dark theme is black under the video player instead of gray. It’s an easy fix whenever I do a pull request.

Describe the bug

Honestly not a big deal, just slightly annoying.

So I tested it and when you enable Hide Shorts (YTUnShorts), it does the job and hides all the shorts.

But when you open the subscription tab and scroll down a bit, there would always be an empty space that would glitch in, and glitch away when scrolling back up, then glitch back in when scrolling down again.

The app opens fine for me, can navigate the menus, etc. differently than #80

Shorts also work fine, but clicking on any video makes the app crash.

I had this issue with v19.05.3-2.4.1 too. The last working version for me that doesn't cause this crash is 19.03.2.

After entering the email ID on sign in page, you’ll get a prompt saying, “Google couldn’t verify it’s safe.”

uYouPlusExtra IPA does allow you to sign in.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Install YTLitePlus from Scarlet
2. Open YouTube app and try to sign in with your Google account
3. It won’t let you sign in.
4. If you sideload using AltStore/SideStore it allows you to sign in.
5. uYouPlusExtra allows you to sign in to your Google account even when you sideload using Scarlet.

Basically there’s this one video on YouTube called all saints pure shores it’s been uploaded in 720p using the vp9 codec if the vpn codec isn’t on it will play in lower quality however if it’s played with vp9 on it will play on higher quality however on ytpluslite it’s not seeming to do anything watch all saints pure shores on the normal YouTube app and then compare to ytlite
