Perl errors after first mount in 7.3 about squashmount HOT 2 CLOSED

Probably you missed the "WARNING" section in the ChangeLog:
&standard_mount() has changed its meaning:
The default paths are no longer
CHANGES => "$dir.changes"
READONLY => "$dir.readonly"
FILE => "$dir.sqfs"
...
but instead
CHANGES => "$dir.mount/changes"
READONLY => "$dir.mount/readonly"
FILE => "$dir.mount/$dirname.sfs"

You must change your directory layout correspondingly (or set the old names by other means).

Reason: Current versions of overlayfs require also a WORKDIR, and since now 4 metadata dirs are required regularly (CHANGES, READONLY, FILE, WORKDIR), it seems reasonable to store these in a subdirectory. I am not happy about this change, but that overlayfs needs WORKDIR is upstreams implementation...

Of course, the undefined symbol is an independent bug which is fixed in 7.4:
Missing parent directories are now created instead of leading to strange errors.
