Could someone tell me how do you use these files??
I'd like to build this printer but need the building plan,drawings,3d files and sizes of all the materials to build it??
I'm new to github..

Looking at the history of the 1320_Print_Head_Top_(x1) folder, The original print head top model and drawings were overwritten by a fan model and drawing.

It looks like the files in the folder should be restored to the versions present at 71ec0cd

May I request an assembly STEP file, or even the SolidWorks assembly? It will be very difficult to examine or extend the design without seeing the relationships between all these parts.

There's a section with 6.4mm inner diameter and 6.6mm outer diameter, making wall thickness 0.1mm. For stainless steel this is too hard (or even impossible) to machine.

I want to clarify what is the thickness of panels.
As I see right panel has 5mm thickness, and left is 6mm. Is it right?

Some questions more:
Alu/PE/Alu - is it an aluminium composite? If yes, can I use 4mm panels and not 6mm, like in drawing? Will the quality be damaged cause of this?

The printhead cable folder - 1186 - just contains a single pdf (B1186-B2P-C.pdf) which doesn't seem to be openable (on a Mac, at least).

I've experienced some problems with my fans. On my Ultimaker 2, after a few hours of working, the lateral extruders fan stopped turning.

After some investigations, I figured out that the connectors of the fan were broken.

The technical problem is that when you soldered these connectors, the plastic melt making it too weak to handle a good link, especially for a moving part.

I think you should change these connectors or find a better way to assemble your cables.

Ive tried a lot of these step files and none of them seem to open in Inventor. All my other step files open no problem, any idea what could be wrong?

There is an error with this repository's WhiteSource configuration file that needs to be fixed. As a precaution, scans will stop until it is resolved.

I keeped on hacking my UM2 and noticied that the extruder was slipping, this seems to be a common issue (see: http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/3261-ultimaker-2-extrusion-problem/)

To solve this, i've been radical and I designed a part to move the extruder directly over the nozzle.

This is easy to do, because you just need one printed part (it took less than one hour to print it), but you have to solder longest wires for the extruder motor.
Moreover, I still can't use the "change" option for my filament and I have to do it manually with "Move material".

I will give it some try to compare this configuration with the original.

I could use the CAD files for the black plastic parts visible at the building area, as I may have overheated the buidling area and these parts have warped.
That would include the 3 parts that build the head mount and the parts on the 4 sliders enclosing the belt and brass bearing.

If you issues M20 command to list the files on the SD card , the returned list contain names which are cut down the length of 8 characters for filename and 3 characters to file extension. Here is an example

Send: M20
Recv: Begin file list
Recv: QUADCO1.GCO
Recv: LAMPSK1.GCO
Recv: GERLIT~1.GCO
Recv: End file list
Recv: ok

So was in older Windows versions when dir command issues in command prompt truncated long file names.

Is this a bug? Can you fix it so we get the full long names?

The CAD models are great, but it is not clear what electronics are used. Can anyone help?

I think the heat bed is a PCB. But B1155-B2P-A.PDF gives only a 3D model. Is there a PCB/Schematic file available? Thanks!

I noticed B1354-Z1P-A.PDF has the student edition watermark. A SolidWorks employee may inquire about your licensing.

Interested in the integrated nozzle design. It's similar to J head Nozzle. But what is the use of 2.5mm connecting the heater and sensor? It cannot be manufactured at all.
