If i want to initialize a ResponsiveImage just with a placeholder (image data are coming async from a backend) i get an error because it tries to read from that array images.

I created a PR for it with an example and tests. Please take a look there an tell me what you think.

The use of image, images, ResponsiveImage, RetinaImage, placeholder and fullback can be confusing.

Perhaps the use of simply image and images should be replaced with a more strict use of ResponsiveImage, placeholder, fallback, RetinaImagesand RetinaImage.

Or a rethink of naming conventions should be carried out.

When image ratios change at each breakpoint having only only fixed ratio placeholder can be jarring for the user on load.

Would it be plausible to load a placeholder for each breakpoint? Perhaps each image has x1, x2 and placeholder?
