You can certainly prove if someone is still living. I suggest you look at what properties the people in the array have carefully. For test two, Ray is the oldest person in the array despite other people who are still living also being in the array. Again, strongly suggest you look carefully at the objects in the array, and their properties.
Also, the third test doesn't need to check if the person is still living itself. It only checks that the oldest person, which is Carly, is returned. The tests are not responsible for checking anything other than the return value. Determining who that person is, is your job. You would know if you did this correctly if the correct person is returned.
Closing because this is not an issue, but a misinterpretation of the tests. Feel free to ask questions in the Discord if you need more clarity.
