This configuration has been removed, and must be configured in the
sonata_block section (using the BlockBundle)

Ok, gotcha. Is there updated SonataBlock documentation anywhere with the new configuration options? I'm getting "The child node "default_contexts" at path "sonata_block" must be configured." and can't find any reference to that anywhere

Up, Is there some documentation on the update ? I lost a lot of time trying to fix that update and your docuementation still use old configuration.

Any suggestion ?

Just move the "services" section into the sonata_block section and rename
services to "blocks"

and review this page

One last question, how do we now create blocks? As the panel now no longer appears on the frontend...

from sonatapagebundle.

rande avatar rande commented on July 17, 2024

You should see the admin list on the dashboard screen. you can see the sandbox update here : sonata-project/sandbox@66eb285

If you want to learn about how to create new block you can have a look to existing block defined in the BlockBundle or by reading the documentation.

Still nothing, I simply want to create a text block on the frontend, when I go to the frontend via app_dev.php my credentials say anon

FYI, I have to login to the frontend AND sonata admin for the edit block to show
