Actually, I've heard some requests for a bash version (!), which may be coming
one
day. I don't know anyone who is planning on working on java, though if you're
interested, we'd gladly accept patches!

I'm going to close this WillNotFix, since we have no intention of working on a
java version. I think if one were to be made, it would be best done as a
separate project (as python and bash(!) are). So it makes sense to close this
bug.
