bcm2711-kernel-bis's Issues

This kernel runs 2 °C cooler than the std v8+ kernel

The header says it all.
Since some time I run a service collecting CPU & GPU temperatures for my gatekeeper rpi 4B.
Used to be around 57 °C for the CPU and 1 °C less for the GPU with the standard v8+ kernel.
After installing this kernel (4.19.83-v8-3c235dcfe80a-p4-bis+), it runs roughly 2 °C cooler, CPU 54.5 - 55.0 °C and GPU 54.0 - 55.0 °C.

Problems with WiFi and total_mem>1024

Dear Sasaki,

I'm using your latest bis Pi4 64bit kernel 4.19.66.20190820 and transferring not that large directory (90MB, 3000 files) by scp -r over WiFi blocks the WiFi and gives several errors in dmesg:

If I set total_mem=1024 the problem is gone. It appears with total_mem=2048 and higher. I believe it can be fixed by recent PR. Could you, please, compile kernel with this PR? Thank you.
