Until we get our regression testing in place and compare results between the 64 and 32bits, I'm not sure about the 64bit version.

And I am not sure about making any conda packages until we have 64 bits, so there you go.

I am not saying we support only 64 bits... when we suport both 32 AND 64 bits, then we are ready to start distributing swmm and pyswmm.

So regarding

what kind of support do you need for this task? Are we still having issues with cmake?

We need to have regression testing, then 32/64 bit support, then we can make conda packages.

I think CMake is working fine, but we need to support 64 bits. for win

Also @bemcdonnell we need to make a SWMM release. We need to tag a new version and freeze the code. Since I think the api is not ready yet, I would say we are still months before accomplishing this task.

Until we get our regression testing in place and compare results between the 64 and 32bits, I'm not sure about the 64bit version. Another detail is that if we build only a 64bit windows version, a 32bit python instance will not be able to talk to the 64bit dll

@michaeltryby has a good strategy for this

@goanpeca, would it screw up the workflow if we supported 32-bit for now, then added 64-bit later after regression testing? I think if we can begin the transition, it would be really good for the wrappers. Furthermore, we could ensure the additional codes we add are cross platform compatible.
