How difficult would it be to list all tournaments with a "request invitation" type link? As it is now, you have to know someone's email address to invite them to a tournament. But, I think it might be useful to allow people to sign in and then request invites to any tournament they're interested in.
Getting a "translation missing: en.Challenge" message on the tournaments page (e.g. http://ladder.nothing.co.nz/tournaments/11), when hovering over the "Challenge" button.
If you happen to share your code publicly, make sure your secret_key_base value is kept private. (http://markdblackwell.blogspot.com/2013/06/ongoing-open-source-rails-secrettoken.html)
When you sign in as a new user, the News Feed, Challenges, and Games tabs are all empty. Perhaps some text would be helpful to clarify what they will find there...
The winner knockout match was correctly created but the tournament was immediately considered over even though the final knockout had not been logged yet. As if the loser trees win was matched to both games.
It seems wrong that there's no confirmation after submitting a tournament invitation. I could probably figure out how to do this in my spare time, but I'm using the issues queue as a wish list :)
My email address is [email protected] I have tried to join our pool competition but for some reason I cannot login using my gmail address.
Can you please look into my issues and let me know.
Thanks,

Phyllis
The migration introduced in 0770357 seems to be causing problems for me. Perhaps it's an unusual case because one of my tournaments has no ratings? Anyway, I wasn't clever enough this morning to figure it out, but maybe @proglottis knows why. I also use mysql if that matters.
** [out :: ...] == BackpopulatePlayerIdOnRatings: migrating ==================================
** [out :: ...] rake aborted!
** [out :: ...] An error has occurred, all later migrations canceled:
** [out :: ...]
** [out :: ...] undefined method `limit' for nil:NilClass
It seems redundant to first accept an invitation, and then have to join the tournament to be rated in it. Wouldn't it be easier if invites were automatically rated?
Feature request: alert when page is stale.
Is your current code working on Rails 4? I can't seem to get it working. Also, it looks like you have several migrations that cause a fresh db:migrate to fail, including...
db/migrate/20121007042303_create_ranks.rb
db/migrate/20121027224905_change_precision_of_mu_and_sigma_on_rank.rb
db/migrate/20121127065252_update_trueskill_ranks.rb
db/migrate/20130115045713_backpopulate_glicko2_ratings.rb
db/migrate/20130129050251_drop_ranks.rb
The latest release of whenever doesn't seem work with Rails 4. Any workarounds?

Admin should be able to delete players from a ladder
Can you confirm? Not sure what's going on there.
It seems that if you comment on a challenge where game_id is not nil then it is not handled well.
Would be nice to transfer or add additional administrators for an already-running tournament.
Hi,
i would like to use ladder but i am a noob but not lazy. Is there a tutorial on how i could install this great piece of software to a web server? Orelse where should i start reading and learning how to do it?
Please give a heads up.
Thank you for your time reading this.
Regards,
Nik
I feel like there should probably be a checkbox on the notifications page to disable comment emails. I'm pretty new to rails or else I would have submitted this as a pull request.
Does it make sense to have a way to archive or delete an old or unused tournament?
Sometimes both players in a game will accidentally log a game. Would be nice to be able to delete games, whether confirmed or unconfirmed, if you are a participant.
Error when running bundle exec rake db:setup
fixed by changing active_model_serializer.rb file from
ActiveModel::Serializer.root = false ActiveModel::ArraySerializer.root = false
to
ActiveModel::Serializer.config.adapter = :flatten_json
Administrators should be able to view a feed of all games in a tournament, and possibly make changes / deletions
I'm curious as to why you chose to show the "low_rank" of the glicko2 rating. Is there an FAQ on the rating system you're using (short of reading the Glicko2 paper)?
Wouldn't it be useful to view past games and challenges you've participated in, on the Games and Challenges tabs?
