Partnered with the University of Nebraska at Omaha, an Eclipse plugin is being developed which will allow developers to easily view licensing and copyright information of individual software files or projects using an SPDX document maintained by the plugin. Building on functionality from the FOSSology and DoSOCS applications, this plugin will also give developers the ability to add licensing and copyright information to software files they developed.
