spdx_eclipse_plugin's Issues

Update Roles Section within the Technical Documentation Wiki Page

Please update the Roles section within the SPDX Eclipse Plugin Wiki > Technical Documentation page, to include project specific tasks as it relates to the different milestones.

Also, update the README.md file Contributors section and the SPDX Eclipse Plugin Wiki > Technical Documentation wiki Roles section to include our teams point of contact as the group Database Administrator or DBA including responsibilities in general and towards our project.

Finish README Doc

This could turn into an ongoing issue if future project changes require the README document to be updated.

Update README.md to Include License Information

Please determine the appropriate License for the source code and documentation of the SPDX_Eclipse_Plugin and update the README.md file to denote these. Additionally, please add the following license files to the branch: SourceLicense (which outlines the license for the source code) and DocumentationLicense (which outlines the documentation license).

Add How To Contribute Section / Information to Technical Documentation Wiki Page

Please create a How To Contribute section and individual page within the SPDX Eclipse Plugin Wiki > Technical Documentation page, under the implementation strategy section, which details how users should go about contributing to the SPDX Eclipse Plugin.

Please see the Apache Contributor License Agreement, Oracle Contributor Agreement, and Wikipedia Contributor License Agreement pages which outline different format examples.

Research Maven Eclipse Plugin Regarding FOSSology + SPDX Integration

First, please visit the Apache Maven homepage to learn more about the functionality offered by the Apache Maven application and its' integration with FOSSology + SPDX.

Then download the source code and install the Apache Maven Eclipse Plugin version of the Apache Maven application to a local Eclipse IDE and step through the source code for FOSSology + SPDX functionality.

Please document your findings and be prepared to discuss them on Monday February 23rd.

Add Wiki Table of Contents

In order to ensure better flow throughout the project wiki, a table of contents sidebar should be added.

Add Code Style Guide Section / Information to Technical Documentation Wiki Page

Please create a Code Style Guide section and individual page within the SPDX Eclipse Plugin Wiki > Technical Documentation page, under the implementation strategy section, that contains Java coding standards for source file structure, formatting, naming, and practices. Finally, please include information regarding how developers should license their code for the SPDX Eclipse Plugin.

You may reference the Google Java Style Guide as a starting point, but it doesn't need to be this detailed. If needed, create subpages to better format the Code Style Guide.

Add SPDX or SPDX Module Section / Information to Installation Documentation Wiki Page

Please create a SPDX or SPDX Module section and individual page within the SPDX Eclipse Plugin Wiki > Installation Documentation page, under the prerequisites section, which details how users would install SPDX prior to installation of the SPDX Eclipse Plugin itself.

Please include a numbering scheme between each of the prerequisite sections that outlines the order in which each prerequisite should be installed.
