Cannot create first user because of form validation about payload HOT 6 OPEN

Some clarifications:

I have also tried this via npx create-payload-app@beta.

The error in the GIF above does not result in any network activity. The error from the console is when I get a different error. There is a POST request to /api/users/first-register with the below form data:

{"email":"[EMAIL]","users":{"password":"[PASSWORD]"}}

That request has a 400 response. In these instances, the password field is the one highlighted (i.e. not the confirm password field).
