Hey @mrstebo - thank you for the reproduction steps!
I followed the steps above and was not able to reproduce the behavior on latest payload versions v2 (v2.26.0) and v3 (v3.0.0-beta.77).
Any reason you are still using version 1.15.8?
If you are able to make the upgrade to v2 or v3, this issue should be resolved.
