Hi Pia,

I'd be more than happy to! To get started, all you need to do is create a copy of the english folder, call it "danish", and start translating the lines of text.

They look like this

'global:first_name' => 'First Name',

In this case, what you want to change is the 'First Name' part; leave the part to the left untouched so that Pancake can identify it. You can see the way the lines are different in the French translation, for example: https://github.com/pancakeapp/translations/blob/master/french/pancake_lang.php

If you don't have experience with Git or GitHub, don't worry - once you have some of the translation done, just send me the language files and I'll add them here, so you don't have to do anything. They'll automatically be included in the next Pancake update, and will be available to you in your own Pancake.

If you do have experience with Git and GitHub, you can start a fork and submit a PR with the translation, and I'll merge it and give you commit access to the repo so you can make modifications whenever you want and keep the danish translation up to date without having to go through me first.

If you have any questions or need any help with anything, just let me know. I'd like to help in any way I can.

Hi Bruno

I do not know much about Github, but would like to keep the danish translation on Github. I managed to make a fork quite easy. PR = Privat Request?

PR means Pull Request here in GitHub. When you add or make changes to the Danish files in your fork, GitHub will show you this (look on the right, there's a Pull Request link):

Pull Request

Just click that link, and go ahead with it (and if you have any questions, just ask 😄) - that will send the files to us and we can accept that into the official translations.
