In the current version (AP-420700-D) the debris enclosing does not work anymore properly with the configuration:
Buffer gate (top): 15s
Filter gate (middle): 13s
Buffer gate (bottom): 1s

The debris is with this configuration above the top mechanized air lock.
Working values for me were (I did not let the boiler run for a longer period, just some rough testing):
Buffer gate (top): 20s
Filter gate (middle): 15s
Buffer gate (bottom): 2s

for the usage example on active-cooling-without-steel.png it is shown of it using water and suggesting using polluted water for the heat transfer between liquid and gas. my question is, why not using petrol as it has lower freezing point (as stated in https://oxygennotincluded.gamepedia.com/Liquid) and better heat transfer. or maybe using supercoolant (if you feeling rich)

Hi,
I'm currently building the petroleum boiler and currently filling the left side with water. When I go to deconstructing the liquid valve how do I remove the debris from the bottom of the boiler room? My understanding is that when the hot igneous rock touches that any other debris it will assume the heat of the debris?
From what I'm seeing is that this was built in SANDBOX mode and not built by real dupes.
If this is true then it should be removed as a build guide so people that are playing the "real" game don't waste their time.

A guide on how to do both petroleum boiling and metal volcano taming at the same time would be great. It's hard to combine the two because with steel my auto sweeper overheats.
