The Dutch government announced that from the 1st of January 2021 the 2% transfer tax for homebuyers between the ages of 18 and 35 years old will be dropped. If you are above 35 years old, you have to continue to pay the current transfer tax of 2%. The government hopes that by removing the transfer tax, buying a property will be more attractive and will create more circulation into the current housing market. If your age is above 35 years old, then you are entitled to pay the current transfer tax of 2%.

Acceptance criteria:

• NHG national mortgage guarantee is now €355,000 (or €368,300 if you have plans to make it more energy efficient)

• Buyers aged between 18 and 35 will not have to pay transfer tax if the purchase price of the property is below €400,000. If this is not the case, you will have to pay a transfer tax of 2%, while investors will face an 8% charge.

I realized that there is no option to adjust rates for Financial Advisor and Real Estate Agent. There are some cases in which that is possible to work with a fixed price or different rates. So it would be great to adjust both of them with the possibility to use a fixed price.
