Or, do the app-specific configs shadow the default config so that I don't have to copy some mapping into all profiles? f.e. suppose that the default profile has many mapping, and in some app I only want to change one thing.

As above, recent versions of Xcode no longer support Swift 3.x and cannot even open this project.

Considering that there seems to have been no significant activity on this project for 6 years and it is no longer compatible with up-to-date development tools, this project seems to be dead...

The Python-based alternative at https://github.com/napisani/karabiner-profile-swapper seems to be slightly more "alive".

Any new changes disappear as soon as a profile is automatically selected by package. It seems to roll back to the last configuration before this add on is enabled.

Hi I'm totally new to github, and am not really well-versed in computer coding at all.

It seems like you have a workaround for creating app-specific profiles, so that whenever I switch to a different app or program on my computer (MacOS), it should also make Karabiner automatically switch my profile to the one I want??

How do I download and use your "build" or app or fix or whatever it's called?? (especially for someone who doesn't know almost anything about coding)
