In week1/README.md, line 140 and 142 are duplicates of each other - both have the link to the official ggplot2 docs.

@SoyBison: a few students are having trouble with authenticating their GitHub accounts on the command line. It seems most are using https access to their repos and then having to type their username and a personal access token to push.

let's find a better way that's low cost and doesn't involve installing special tools?

can you check here for options that work on Ubuntu on Windows?

i believe i used credential.helper in the past, but don't face this myself because i use ssh instead of https (but don't think that's worth the hassle for them to set up).

Here's a list of things to try collected from the internet.

• https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/200534577-Resetting-RStudio-Desktop-s-State
  • Seems to work for Win11 related issues, but it probably won't work long term.
• https://support.rstudio.com/hc/en-us/articles/360049776974-Using-RStudio-Server-in-Windows-WSL2
  • Allows you to work in Linuxland instead of having to be in windowsland. But it's a little overcomplicated. Much more stable though (at least in my testing)

It looks like we're ignoring .RData files in the top-level .gitignore file but not in subdirectories, which has caused some people to have to rewrite history to get rid of large file commits.
