About using the original power board

Hi there,first thanks for sharing the wonderful project!
I have a question about using the original power board. If I don't change my screen to IPS screen, still using the GBC original screen, can I use the original power board? Or you still recommend using the new verson power board?
Thank you!

Installing ips kits leads voltage problem

Assembled board can be powered on and load cartridge with sound normally.
While when I intall the IPS screen kits,the power Led turns off and the "EM6" becomes so hot.

I checked the power board, the output voltage was normal, 5V, without screen kits. Voltage on the DC even lowed to 2.4V when installed IPS kits..

Also I checked the legs of cpu which was soldered correctly...

I don't know what should I do or check..

MGBC-BOM: Conflicting item quantity; mouser-cart vs BOM

The Bill of Material (BOM) for the MGBC has different quantities listed compared to the provided mouser-cart[1] https://www.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=854e7f6cf9

For example:
Mouser cart: "80-C0603C105K3P" Qty: 100 pieces <-- vs --> BOM: "C16-19,39,40,48,49,51" Qty: 9 pieces
Mouser cart: "80-C0603C104M3R" Qty: 10 pieces <-- vs --> BOM: "C3, C12, C24, C43, C52, C53": Qty: 6 pieces

"minimum-qty" and "multiple-of-qty" arent containing those quantities.
While it doesn't seem much, costs be reduced to 2/3 of the current mouser-cart (mouser-cart ~35€ vs BOM ~25€)

Is this something done by design, If so, why?

1.6 thickness

I ordered 1.6mm thickness PCBs without intention. Can I still continue my project or will it be really annoying?
Thank you for your amazing work.
