lofi-player's Introduction

Lo-Fi Player

Welcome to our “Lo-Fi Player” room! By interacting with elements in the room, you can build your own custom music stream. Or if you prefer, just relax, listen, and enjoy the view from the window. The experience is powered by machine learning models from magenta.js.

For many it’s more fun to play around with the room without an instruction guide, so you might try yourself before reading further (or watch it on YouTube stream). Just click on the image above and Lo-Fi Player will start in a different browser tab. One hint: once the music starts, the green ceiling lamp can be used to stop it. Please read the blog if you want to know more about the project.

lofi-player's Issues

Not working in Safari

Hey,
when opening the website in Safari version 14.0. The website gets stuck in the loading screen.
When looking in the console it is clear that the var OscillatorNode and the var Tone cannot be found.

Improve the acustic guitar?

Cool project!

This is a small idea, as someone who plays the intrument, the current one does not looks like a guitar haha

current guitar

Here's another that I found using a quick web search..

Guitar example

I've made this project in 3D with added functionalities

Good day,

Based on this project v. 1.3 I've added a plethora of new functions;

You can find the repo here https://github.com/jonathanneels/LofiPlayer_3D
Messing around can be done here: https://lofiplayer3d.herokuapp.com/

Changes include; more instruments, pitch, detune, 3D environment, more drum sounds.
Also possible now is when the project runs you can create custom music for melodies/chords/bass/drums.

I hope this might be added to the main project or atleast give some people a great time.

Kind regards,
a lo-fi enthousiast
