By the way, I found 2 bugs:

1. When I changed the melody in the melody panel, I found that the timing is off and the loop extends to 4 bars.
2. I am not able to open the recorded files.

The beat seems ok-ish when melody swing is most right?
Where do you listen from (os)? I've tested it on windows with vlc player and it works (I got all codexes).

The screenshot was taken when I changed the left melody to "dense". It's all blank after the first bar. Is it expected?

Hi,

The theme (.midi) you're referring to is indeed that short.
In the Master tab I've added a selection menu where you can select a Theme (the selected one in my branch is called 'Zelda', while yours is called 'default'). Some experimental themes are also added.
Note: Themes are selected folders (the midi folder) where the sound samples are present.
