The app got stuck when trying to save the video (mp4, no audio)

When trying to close the app, it crashed, but the avatar stayed on, if I click on the avatar y gives an error.

The red rectangle that appears when you are recording gets scaled wrong depending on monitor resolution I guess.

My main monitor is 4k, the secondary one is 1680x1050 and this is being recorded on the secondary monitor

I was trying to test the app, and when starting to record it gave this error.
After clicking accept it just offered to save the resulting video

Having the ability to use multiple webcams, turn them off, turn them on, have them take up the whole screen.

I recorded a video and after I picked where to save it I closed the app since I wasn't going to record another video for the moment but I lost the first one because it takes some time to save the mp4 file. Maybe this could be fixed by just showing the save progress or something like that, not sure, but just wanted to report the issue.

If against a white background you don't see the recording countdown.

The camera/avatar ui wont be fully shown on my pc (I have a mix of 4k and 1060p monitors)

With the ability to choose either webm or mp4 saving as webm now ends up with recording.webm.webm

Hi, is it possible to turn on/off audio capture from the computer? I had mic and camera turned off while recording and I was listening bg music (with speakers) from youtube and that was recorded in the video.

I am noticing that the recording window will expand or contract occasionally. Normally with a change to a different resolution. If you stop recording it is fine the next time you Start Recording. I am guessing because is pulling old settings that don't get updated when it is moved to a new screen. Will test if resizing the window when moving it fixing the issue.

Hi, this is shaping up as a super nice tool.

For now at least my use case is more as a quick way to share video and at least on windows there is nothing as easy as the screen recorder that you invoke with shift+command+5 on mac.

This would be an awesome replacement for that on windows, but I would love if you could select not adding a webcam feed so that I can freely record small videos to share. Also disabling the sound recording and having a system sounds options would be awesome.

I am looking for the ability to resize the webcam video.

The first time recording after moving the window from my main to secondary monitor the red square is shown incorrectly, the second time it seems to work better

The ability to change the countdown from 5 to any other number. This would be useful especially with the other feature request to be able to pause recording. Before starting up have a quicker or maybe even longer countdown.

Yeah I am going to make us need a settings panel at this rate.

Instead of moving around the full window it becomes locked to the Stop Recording button. Need to debug if captureWindow is the wrong source to use or if maybe it needs to switch between captureWindow and indicatorWindow based on if it is recording or not.

In testing of the 1.0.8 version there did seem to be an issue with Windows playback if there was audio from the system. If there was no system audio there doesn't seem to be an issue with playback.

This is something that would be useful when you are trying to do multiple videos but you need to do some setting up. Being able to minimize Floom since it is set to always on-top (totally an extremely useful feature) would definitely help. Granted with the settings already in the app and the super fast load times it isn't essential.

It would be super useful for floom to remember display and screen position/size between runs, since I usually always tend to record the same stuff several times

There is an issue on Windows with multiple cameras. Once you complete a recording the webcam video windows freeze. You cannot move them around or utilize the settings on them. If you move the capture windows the video windows start unfreezing but only while you are moving the capture window.

The ability to pause the recording to move the window or move something new in front of the window. This would allow a creator not to have to stitch the video together later in an editor.

This is awesome so far! I would like the ability to choose to capture system audio as well though!
