For me, when I use rclone alone, I will use this environment variable, but when I use rb, I don't know how to use the environment variable for proxy server.

I've tried out a few media players on the Stream function but none of them seem to be able to seek. If I mount the remote and stream that way seeking is possible, but there is another current issue with unmounting on Windows that is already open.

I guess there might be some configuration issues with the media player, but it lead me to think that it might be worthwhile to have some advanced config options (additional flags) the stream and mounting functions, just in case there are issues.

Thank you again for taking up this project which I feel is severely needed for rclone (their current gui is way behind).

b2sdk 0.1.8 has requirement arrow<0.13.1,>=0.8.0, but you have arrow 0.14.6.

Does b2sdk owe to your version of rclone-browser? I'm using your version of rclone-browser with arrow 0.14.6 and everything works. Perhaps I do not need b2sdk - and even arrow too? - at all. Thanks.

Right now when I click on download, the destination folder is always empty, but if i click on the browse button it shows me the folder i opened last.

It would be great if the last used folder could be kept for the next download.

In general it would also be nice to have a global default download directory that is used on startup of rclone browser.

I've just installed RcloneBrowser 1.6 and Rclone 1.50, on Windows. When I run RcloneBrowser no remotes are listed and the 'config' and 'rerfresh' buttons seem to do nothing. In the RcloneBrowser settings, the paths seem correct.

I don't use rclone on its own on this machine.
I copied the rclone conf file from a Linux computer on which I use rclone (on its own) and rcloneBrowser.

I have some folders with so many sub folders it takes several minutes until the list appears, but sometimes I already know which sub folder I want to browse to, so it would be great if I could enter the sub folder path and then browse to it directly.

Sorry, this is a stupid question, but I can't figure out how to create a new task (either in RcloneBrowser or in Terminal). How do you create a new task?

Thanks again for transforming a zombie sw into a real alive program!

Last 1.7.0 changed the windows version, replacing the zip package by an installer.
Unfortunately, some users cannot install programs and the installation modifies the registry.

Workaround is to install in another machine, zip the folder to transport to another computer, and remove the installation.

Could you please retain the zip package in the distribution?

a) Directory navigation
Using the GUI or mounting gives long time to navigate the tree under Windows 10. I do not know how you approach to this (rclone) issue.

Remotes from several config files could be shown in groupings such as the ones that VBox does with virtual machines:

Could it be possible to introduce in configuration the use of pointing files? The file would contain the path to the real configuration files. This eases the update of configurations.

using rclone client it is possible to use endpoint s3 with self signed certificates or using private CAs using the --no-check-certificate flag, could you add it as an option to rclonebrowser as well?

After fresh installation on Ubuntu 18.04 rclone-browser starts then crashes. Installed via apt.
Complains of being unable to find tasks.bin

~$ rclone-browser

As without verbose output checked no info is available to show sync progress, I will remove this option from GUI and make it permanently set.

I found it annoying when for whatever reason it is left unchecked and I start sync job. Can’t see what’s going.

I don’t see any reason to run rclone via rclone-browser without verbose output.

At least on Mac it's working only if you bring something from the finder (ie local) with drag and drop to the desired directory on the remote files list GUI which brings up the upload window.

But it would be very useful to being able to also quickly move around files and folders already on the cloud (from one directory to another) using this GUI and drag and drop function with an option in the preferences to disable the dialog window to appear every time you move something to another directory to make even faster and more similar to how things work locally! ;-)

Hi, @kapitainsky. Under "Export" there's also and option to show Verbose Output. However, both with it selected and wihtout it selected, verbose output is shown, so is it possible to remove the box as it no longer has a use? Thank you very much. :)

A option to set additional flags for every time (including directory listing) would be very helpful.

I click on "Config..." under the Remotes tab, a CMD window flashes onscreen then disappears. Isn't that button meant to bring up configuration options for cloud services?

A useful feature would be the option to import a rclone config file on initial installation.

When I use the Exclude options to download files, I find some file with space in file path can't be success excluded from transfering.
For example, A file named abcd txt.txt

The generated command of rclone will be like

rclone.exe copy --verbose --transfers 4 --checkers 8 --contimeout 60s --timeout 300s --retries 3 --low-level-retries 10 --exclude abcd txt.txt --drive-acknowledge-abuse --stats 1s --stats-file-name-length 0 src: des:

It seems wrong since the file which path is abcd and txt.txt will be exclued, And what we real want is abcd txt.txt. So In my options, Each line should be quote so It can work as we expected. like this commands:

It'd be great if the program could cache the files and folders locally so it doesn't have to redownload all the info every time it's restarted.
This would make browsing so much faster.
You could add a "refresh" button to refresh the current dir when needed.

Edit: of course I only mean filenames, not the actual files.

Seems that tasks in Windows are stored in user / AppData / Local / RcloneBrowser / RcloneBrowser
in a file called tasks.bin

This breaks portability.

Looks that storing in within the same directory of RcloneBrowser or in a subdirectory such as StoredTasks might solve the issue.

You have quite a bit of documentation on the appImage format. However, I find it hard to know to create a menu launcher on my system for your appImage. I found some instructions elsewhere and they worked but seem inelegant and I wonder whether I have done things the best way. I do appreciate that procedures will differ between different Distos and DEs . .

Is it possible to limit the bandwidth, either up/down after the copy/move/sync has started?

Sometimes I'll start a transfer, but I don't set a bandwidth limit, because I don't anticipate something else needing all my immediate bandwidth in a particular direction. Or rather, I'd like a particular transfer to compete less with my ongoing RcloneBrowser transfer. It would be nice to be able to limit bandwidth almost on the fly, maybe after the next next finished file would be perfect!

Windows version suggests adding a proxy server function

A nice feature would be the option to change font size etc.

Right now the only way to see the size of a folder is to trigger "Get Size" manually on it.

I think it should be a good idea to have a setting that automatically do that in the background and update the UI accordingly.

I just found your fork and god, that task list is was I was really missing! Thank you!

I would like to request two things if possible:

1 - Any way of sort the Task list. They get sorted by the date they are created. Maybe some drag and drop or arrow buttons to change order would be nice, specially when you have a lot and want to "group" them together.

2 - Could be possible to add any kind of search box / filtering box so, when you load the file list of one or more folders, the list get filtered showing only the files containing the text in their filename?

Now that you fixed #32 (thanks a ton), I've finally been using RcloneBrowser without showing the full Rclone output and I've noticed one piece of information not available. In Rclone, it shows you 32%/5G. Nothing in RcloneBrowser lets you see the size of the individual files that are being uploaded. If you choose to add this feature, I could see implementation as either adding the file size on the progress bar at all times or only showing it in the tooltip that appears when you hover over one of the progress bars.

While it's still working, but It's just annoy me that the progress info doesn't contain any info.
I'm using latest Rclone Browser from here and newest Rclone exe available at this time.

Found reference to your new version (thanks for doing this). The browser is useful, and too bad that it hadn't been updated.

Am running Mint 19.2. Here's what is echoed back.

Cancel running jobs would hang and disk would go heavy writing ,after cancel complete hang and heavy disk writing will stop

We just got a new gift (your new fork with issues solved) and we alwsy as for more...

• Cut/past or drag features a la explorer, both files and folders, in windows would be very nice

• Unmount in windows seems to fail. I found I way in CMD with rclone (find pid of rclone mount process spawned and send signit) but this seems not to be working properly.

• If one uses just a pair of remotes GUI is ok, but as soon as you might have an important number of them the GUI becomes clumsy.
  Would be nice in the GUI:
  a) to be able to select more that a config file (so one can have accounts grouped by purpose or cloud or whatever)
  b) to be able to have more that one remotes tab
  c) to be able to assign an icon or image to each remote by colour
  d) to hide remotes; for example, if one is using a crypted remote, to hide the base remote...

firstly I wanted to thank you for picking up the project, it really needed an update and a future!!! ;-)

Back on topic, I think an easy and quick option (even "on" by default maybe?) to filter out on upload all the .DS_Store files on each directory which MacOs creates would be really really handy for less experienced users since it would be less cumbersome and straightforward than dealing with custom filtering timeline option strings each time ;-)

What do you think?

Jobs tab not showing all transfers

Running RcloneBrowser 1.6.0 on Ubuntu 18.04 through the AppImage.

Even though the task has 4 transfers and in the output all 4 are shown, only 1-3 of the progress bars show up. When this was happening on small files that uploaded almost instantly, this behavior made sense, but the the current files take several minutes and sometimes show up but often don't. Please add a checkbox that makes RcloneBrowser start hidden in Windows system tray.
