And what would the purpose of it?

Let me list here more feature ideas on the road to make RcloneMount a full-featured rclone mount GUI. We can create respective feature request tickets later:
- Drop-down selector for mount disk letter
- Save/restore last used mount disk letter, per remote
- Option to auto-start on user login
- Double-click on tray icon toggles main window open/close
Autostart: RB can either write its path in the registry under HKCU/**/CurrentControlSet/**/Windows NT/**/Run
or create a shortcut under /Users/user/AppData/roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Startup

And what would the purpose of it?
My use case is RcloneBrowser as a tray wrapper for rclone mount
auto-loaded upon login.
Currently I manually add its shortcut in the startup menu, hide main window popping upon login but open later as soon as the need rises.
PS Thank you so much for giving this project a new life.

No plans on my side to make Rclone Browser some sort of RcloneMount tool. Main focus in on remotes browsing and files transfer. I treat mount feature as useful addition only. I consider cloud storage mounts to be inherently unreliable hence only useful for poking around and copy in/out few small files.
Maybe you need something like this?:

Will DIY. My request is low priority, I can allocate time slot later.
I use cloud storage for archives and fixtures with reliability depending on particular provider, generally LGTM. For everyday work I mount SFTP from VPSs and development boxes, be it remote or on local network. rclone SFTP mounts practically show better performance than netdrive/webdrive etc due to more aggressive caching. Having Electron in tray is a poor option.
Well, DIY approach generally works for me. If it's relatively quick and brings value, why not? My intention to use a large free quota on Mailru started as a request for fixes in github.com/yar229 project but since I'm not a .NET guy, at last resulted in the mailru rclone backend which is now upstream. File size limits resulted in the chunker backend for all. I donated packer snapshot builder back to Vultr since I needed it for projects long before they started to hire people to implment it, and alternatives on github all sucked.
Got you, NP. Thank you.
