I prefer format_like between those, feels more descriptive.

Thanks for the input, @ryanb. I have a local branch with those aliases but I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I'm a little worried about diluting the API. Been waiting for a little more feedback.

I was actually thinking about this and forked to implement it. For what its worth I also like #format_like, is more descriptive.
