Sapchopper Mission "Taming the Wild" can't be triggered with troop placement

Issue Summary

The mission "Taming the Wild" 's conditions require 5 units on each fur province within the hunter's grove group, but the trigger won't activate when all the conditions are fufilled, with full control over the area.

Reproduction

  • Play through the Sapchopper MT up until this point ( or pass missions and yesman wars for the required provinces in normal mode remotely )
  • Build 5k stack of troops, starting with standing ontop of vztakido, fealgathille, taraile and sawefeal with fur trade goods mentioned and fufilling the other criteria of 10 income or workshops.
  • If the mission doesn't trigger as reported, build more troops and occupy the entire area as specified.

Prolonged Unconditional Surrenders to the Northern Revolt Caused By No-CBing (& Get Stuck)

Issue Summary

Mixed parts seeking additional challenge, and practically trying to stop Azjakuma's war against Ghatask I pretty much reactively committed a no-cb war on them through the truce to unsiege provinces i needed. They white peaced each other influenced by the revolt but the remainder of my war of aggression, Azjakuma was involved and blocked the eventual unconditional surrender when i had exhausted my resources.

By vanilla default, 5 years have to pass with no battles to call a white peace, and it leaves the player in a state of limbo when combined with third party & the effect of no peace-deals leading to some strange behaviours and exploits when forcing wars.

The 71 year old Mogu Wolfborn after overseeing the One Mogumillion casualties waits 5 years of staggered peace for Azjakuma (no fighting happened towards the end of the war) and 2 years of peace for Sir's revolt.

In a seperate test, declared nocb's on 4 nations after the revolt fired, dhenijanraj refused to peacefully leave and allowed me to exploitatively avoid full collapse with the lingering war event's truce.

Reproduction

  • Declare a no-cb war on current bitbucket while in the middle of the northern revolt then instantly surrender and wait locked in for 5~ years for the nocb war to end. Then another 2 for the revolt's enforcement caused by the lack of peace-deals.

  • Experiment by giving yourself mana, cash and manpower to wait out the war and chain warring multiple no-cb's before unconditionally surrendering sir. They will peace out in no particular sequence after five years declaring, but some may remain, and these will push your unconditional surrender potentially into the 10+ year mark.

Recommended Action

  • Imposing restrictions similar to escanni adventurers no-cbing, by codifying a white peace with nations currently involved with the revolt and the command striking out against anybody else.

  • More scripting, like specifically peacing out nations who have 50k~ casualties to be not included in the final reward via event to give nations & players not included in the revolt agency jump in and boot intrusive wars out.

Additional Notes:

I genuinely do not know if the events asking about northern aggression are linked to countries attempting to declare on members of the revolt, since you get spammed by those but Azjakuma attacked Ghatask without activating it, so presumably Yuanzi/Bianfang/Jinqui and south halessi tags are close enough to declare on Jilanguisi and their vassals without triggering the event when added with the max revolt.

For some user feedback after killing 1 million troops in a attempt to win it just by battles, the northern revolt on max feels like a game-mode, and i would be uncertain the rewards would justify the game-ruining to sustain it for over 20 years of whittling to get in a position to start sieging.

Marlliande has an un-resolvable 'Night of Long Fangs' disaster.

Issue Summary

Marlliande as a nation has a vampire estate inherently, "starting" with the Ar Callen vampiric duchess republic reform. So when you pursue eliminating vampires from your country given one of two choices the Long Fangs disaster offers you, either with or without Ar Callen enacted, you can drive adventurer loyalty and inf to a 100/100, or vampire loyalty and inf to 0/0, there will be no resolution.

Reproduction

  1. Play Marlliande, re-elect yourself a lot, keep low stability and prestige and allow the disaster to fire.
  2. (optional): Break cover with overwhelming suspicion in a monarchy using Luciande-like vampirism mechanics, and depose yourself for a even footed human king instead.
  3. Play the disaster earnestly with the elimination path, and set both estates to maximum and minimum levels by following disaster events. Notice it never ends.

Recommended Action

  • Adding a manual 'remove vampiric estate' decision (similar to mages) when this disaster is active to force the country to repeal.

Additional Notes

The night of long fangs can be triggered on low stability with Ar Callen, but the tickrate to disaster progress persists even if the criteria is fufilled to stop it when a monarch despot is installed (easy to do, with -25 republican tradition per ruler and a 0.20 republican drain, hitting 0 is all it takes.)

Irkorzik MT softlock & loc issues

Issue Summary

Certain missions following on from the mission An appropriate incentive rely on a strict number of outcomes that are referenced dynamically in following missions like a human pack and future of the pack, making it not possible to begin the MT without forcing the player to interact with them.

If the tags have been conquered or had their overlordship broken, their loc referencing them is also broken amongst the mission rewards and criteria descriptions without targets.

Reproduction

  • Play Irkorzik, conquer your neighbors and either annex/cancel subject the targets for an appropriate incentive, or have them be annexed/cancel subject by nearby AI nations.
  • You will be softlocked from continuing the MT, without a overcomplicated process of somehow releasing/force vassalizing the tag and transferring ownership again to somebody which they may not want in the terms of a peacedeal. You cannot insult yourself to fufill the criteria all of the following must be true:
  • After these first two steps, read the remainder of the mission criteria, and rewards with dynamically put in names, it will be annotated with : and .

Recommended Action

Some workarounds would be welcome, between the technical fixes. Here are some propositions.

  • An appropriate incentive : Mausujirad & Taafisi do not exist, or you own at least one of them as a vassal with less than 50% liberty desire.
  • The Human Pack : Have any Fangualan human tag or Mausujira/Taafisi become a march with a specified amount of development & liberty desire, rewarding claims to your subjects, and a potential buff to maus/taafi.
  • Future of the Packs : Own the land directly ( five specified regions in south Fangula) with similar reward to 'delusions of grandeur' for 10 years of sepratism.

Additional Notes

Fanguala is a easy region to consolidate, which for my run was a higher agenda to move through the righthand side of the tree as quickly as possible before solving the religious missions, since its easier to harmonize tolerance with biakarta's legacy and ideagroups while expanding easy convert targets eastward. Which is a pity as this seemed like a fun tag.

"Ninun Officer" Estate Privilege for the Command ignores ruler dynasties

Issue Summary

Despite being still ruled by a member of the wrong cultural caste and dynasty within the stratocracy, the AI can still access the full double benefits of Ninun Officers via the lion command's estate privileges, once they accrue enough army tradition from various sources but most notably taking huge casualties in the northern revolt.

Reproduction

  • Play a normal game of Tiltaghar, the Command either gets smashed up and loses to the revolt (restart) or succeeds through the Northern Revolt mostly intact, and spends some time re-consolidating with easy access to feudalism, power projection and importantly army tradition for accessing the balance endangering estates.

  • Get declared on, inevitably stackwiped by a extreme difference in morale, if you are ahead on tech and not managing to keep up, Dhenijraj is probably not going to help you, and the best you can hope for is that they negotiate a truce on your behalf and halt the war and not give away your land. (repeat every four years on truce for grand campaigns until your run falls apart)

Recommended Action

  • Installing a hard check against specific dynastical names in the hobgoblin cultural file, instead of NOT = { "Lionborn" } as this clearly isn't working as it ought to.

  • Potentially nerfing the full double bonus 0.1 (a full .5 of morale) to a more moderate number from 0.05.

Additional Notes

The Northern Revolt especially messes with Tiltaghar's MT, as none of the splinter commands qualify for the great northern war to progress significant parts of your MT chain but that's not what this issue is for, just a side note if you intend to play as them to see the extreme potential for the Command to stack buffs, which you will inevitably confront.

AI doesn't really stand a chance, and knew to stand back, my personal campaign is a unfortunate alignment of all the possible buffs, but it seems very likely that if this estate is broken, they could very well be all running double buffs simultaneously through the 3 starting estates onwards to late game.
