Hi, sorry for bothering on this repo, but I couldn't find another way to contact you.
I noticed you ran srsLTE on a LimeSDR.
Do you maybe have some notes about installation and configuration?
Thanks :)
Hello, I am asking for help as I wanted to update my firmware using flash. I flashed the file then waited 3-4 minutes before restarting the device. and when I turn on the device there is a black screen. the LEDs at the top are on and I can't access the files using the USB. can you help me please
Hello,
We have been trying to reach you about your NOAA RX application's extended copyright license. Do you have a moment to discuss a collaboration plan with one of our fine associates?
Hi,
When running: hackrf_sweep
It tells me:
hackrf_start_rx_sweep() failed: feature not supported by installed firmware (-1005)
Is there any way to get hackrf_sweep to work?
Thanks.
Hi,thanks for your work. Do you plan to change font ?
Ahoj,
I have made out some contradictions between the claims of your project "portapack-havoc-modified", @jamesshao8, and between the claims of the "Mayhem-Firmware" project, @portapack-mayhem.
I wish to have clarification on this discrepancies in order to have them resolved (at least for me).
In detail, the discrepancies are about the closed-sourcedness of the "H2" and "H3", where the "portapack-havoc-modified" project claims that H2 is closed source, but the "Mayhem-Firmware" project provides open source firmware for it and claims the opposite, and @portapack-mayhem claims your project is closed source but you claim the opposite:
"Mayhem" firmware's Wiki says about the H3:
Uses custom close source firmware. Not compatible with Mayhem. Do not buy or support as it's a scam
The H2 is said to be compatible.
While the "portapack-havoc-modified" project by @jamesshao8 says about the H2:
No for H2 (close source, Do not buy or support)
and says the H3 is supported by that firmware.
The "Mayhem" firmware is open source as far as I see, so the statement "close source" in the "portapack-havoc-modified" firmware by @jamesshao8 seems wrong.
But the "portapack-havoc-modified" firmware by @jamesshao8 also seems to be open source, so the statement "close source firmware" in the "Mayhem" firmware's Wiki also seems to be wrong.
Can you bring clarity to this?
I also asked this at the "Mayhem" firmware project, and there is a discussion on reddit, too.
(The "portapack-havoc-modified" firmware by @jamesshao8 seems much less been cared of and not updated for years (except the README.md
), so to me it looks the "Mayhem" firmware is more maintained anyway.)
Regards!
Is there a specific procedure for compiling? I can successfully compile portapack-havoc, but portapack-havoc-modified always fails.
Hi. Do you think, you could add 406MHZ FSK decoder of emergency ELT transmitters?

In your README.md
you have URLs to sellers:

All of those URLs do not work.

Hi all,
I have been busy updating a crowd funding project of a mini drone. It's not only a drone but also can help SDR enthusiasts learn hardware and firmware developing. Please help me if you are interested. If you can spread the word to your friends, it will be much appreciated. @eried

is it possible to create a decoder p25, Dstar, DMR, ProVoise?

I modified pocsag tx and rx. Now portapack can send information between each others. They can be switched to Positive or Negative phase. Need more test with pocsag receivers.
Is there any possibility to obtain the last firmware for my h3 se mini? I want to upgrade with last feature you add. Thank you.
I implemented nrf24l01 decoder, which is designed to decode remote controllers for small quadcopters. I have tested it with crazyradio pa.
Ideally, the sample rate should be 8MHz after decimation by 4, I will be able to decode 2MPS, 1MPS and 250KPS.
However, that's not working. I reduced sample rate to 4MHz, decimation is still 4. Theoretically it should work for 1MPS and 250KPS. However it's actually only working for 250KPS. However, under that rate, there's no error.
If anyone is interested, can give it a try.
I wonder why you havent integrated this into the main repo
create an app for qrp, (cross "mictx and analog audio") add a mode for selecting the reception frequency and transmission frequency independently of each other, use the type of modulation and if possible add ssb. and power activation in case of transmission or constantly in the settings . thanks
Can I suggest to add somewhere the correct commands and requirements to use the gps simulator app?
Something like....
https://github.com/osqzss/gps-sdr-sim/wiki/Real-Time-Streaming-to-HackRF
https://slowmin.com/fake-gps-with-a-hackrf-one/
./gps-sdr-sim -e brdc3540.14n -s 2500000 -b 8 -o gpssim.c8
./gps-sdr-sim -e brdc3540.14n -l 40,110,100 -b 8 -o gpssim.c8
create text file named "gpssim.txt" context:
sample_rate=2500000 center_frequency=1575420000 and copy this two files into sd card at some dir:
./gpssim.c8
./gpssim.txt
Hi, I noticed you added internal mic switch in commit 2759561
I have Portapack H1. Where should I connect the internal microphone on PCB?
So am I correct that the newer apps you made are cclosed source? Its strange because your readme says "No for H2 (close source, Do not buy or support)" and I believe the H2 just didn't give schematics etc, something superficial to overcome on a device with such few components. So is this one of those "closed source is bad don't do it!...unless I'm doing it! then its ok?" or did I miss something? I hope I missed something. What licenses are involved in the firmware, non of them object to being linked to closed source components? And you mention your upgrade gps board in readme but no links, where can I purchase one? Unless you are keeping things closed source, in which case ill take YOUR advice and not give you any $.
While looking for a replacement screen, I came across a Capacitive touch screen/LCD with apparently the same connector. WOuld it be possible to add support for the capacitive screen?
I just install 1.3.0 version and there is no GPS sim app in Transmit apps. Is it removed from apps? If so, what firmware version still has it? Thanks.
Wondering how we get access to the apps listed as premium? I only see it mentioned in the apps list but now how to get them.
Thanks for any help
Hello, I was given an H2 to play with (not support them) and I see that your firmware does not support the H2 because they are closed source, etc - but will installing your code brick this device? I only ask because I do not want to brick my friend's device, but really wanted to test your version of havoc.
Thank you
I enabled the speaker in software.
Its volume (together with mute or unmute) is controlled together with the headphone for the moment.
If anyone has a analog speaker can have a try.
The port is a 3 pin port on the back of portapack, close to the battery 2 pin port.
This should be valid only for the original portapack h1, not for h2.
Can show you the mac address of ble devices around you
However it's still buggy.
I bypassed crc test, only preamble and address is judged, which caused some bits mistaken.
If I dont bypass that, no result will be shown.
I think it's the radio parameters causing some noise, so that I can never pass crc test.
