Hi,

Don't know if it's just me and I'm doing something wrong, but on typing, the list filters but I cannot select an item, why?

Don't make it dependent only on String datatype.. Instead let user pass list of objects and the widget uses the toString() method of the object to show values

If choosing a pre-existing item, there is 1 way to close the drop-down - to tap the checkmark on the keyboard.

If entering custom text, an item which does not exist / is not in the list, there are 0 ways to close the drop-down AND keep the entry. If one taps the checkmark in this case, the drop-down retracts, but reverts to the prior value (if any), losing the custom entry.

Unfortunately, based on open issues dating back to a year ago, will not hold breath for update. Moving on to another package :(

Right now one string appears in the drop down, what if I want to display 2 values separated by '\n', Is that Possible? and also change the text style? basically I'm looking for a way to override the widget that displays the item?
