Another topic I'd also like to discuss more. It also seems like it is related to the broader discussion about PARR requirements, NCEI collection metadata, and aligning practices across the various IOOS DACs.

@sformel-usgs GBIF makes ROR's available from occurrence records. Is this something we can work with on the OBIS side?

Probably, Keep an eye on these for now and then we can talk to OBIS.
- We have a request in for adding RORs to the IPT: gbif/ipt#2373
- A request to be able to search RORs via the DwC field institutionID: gbif/portal-feedback#5348
