Pages that have not been created yet, please put a page under construction image. Currently, it shows $END$

As most the iit's and nits follow the convention of using both national languages version of college name in website.. Inclusion of it would be good( i couldnt say about the desingn of it).

Create home page (main page) layout. Store it in a layouts/ directory in project root for now.
We can add the content when #4 is decided.

As i can see @singh-pratyush96 had created good link structure in btech_cse.html copy same links in all pages. Currently btech_cse.html is unreachable from any other page.

Do we have to add it?

Remove one B.Tech and add M.tech

As there are about 20-25 pages and lots of pages in them will have a common design scheme, I suggest using a static site generator for automation of page generation.

I suggest pelican because it is written in Python which most of the collaborators are aware of.

Once a pelican or other site-gen project is setup on the master branch, we can use TravisCI for auto-pushing the build site to gh-pages.

How do you plan to include the works of different clubs in the website? Like the photography club and all...

For example, template.html after height=1075px and about.html after height=780px.

The image view in the first page has a lot of empty space before and after the image.
Suggestion: You can use a horizontal scroll view and place the images in it so as to fill up the empty space

I want to add google map in our college website

As there are only three anoucements on the current college website, I will add those three only and leave other as they are now.

The idea is to show the popover when you click the button and to hide the popover when you click outside the button.
This is would enhance the usability.

Currently NavBar get scrolled up when page is scrolled up.
it can be fixed to top when scrolled to a certain limit

How is it to Add google calendar to website...Through which admin panel can update calendar from their google account and changes will be reflected to the website`s calendar

Every time a new page is created the whole basic layout is copied and then pasted. Instead if a single template is created with all the attributes and included or inserted in every web page this could be more helpful. If some change has to be made in the template then we don't have to edit the HTML code of each and every page if such template is made and inserted.

While I was visiting the new pages created by @singh-pratyush96 and @saurabhjn76 , I realised that there was no home page button or link which could take me back to home page.

I think either we should make a home page link or should make the college logo linked to home page.
Though the home page is not prepared yet but it would work once the page is done.

Pages inside admissions, people, linkages etc category will have somewhat similar designs. Create layouts for each of these pages ( layouts/admissions.html , layouts/people.html etc ) .

Once the main index page layout is done, these layouts can be extracted from it. Please create individual issues for each layout and divide them between the collaborators.

Admissions> phd... Headers are not visible in this page and also the footer is not like the other pages.

A new page (Board of Governors) was added recently to the college website.

And write under construction :P

To maintain the uniformity of the website, I would suggest you change the color of the visited links to the shade of green that you have used everywhere else.

@ansarimofid kindly check pages like about_us.html and directors_message for empty whitespace.
Possibly there are some wrong values in attributes of css file.

e.g.
drop down menu disappears when we click 'B.Tech' in the 'Academics' in navigation bar, but it should not...

Since we are making a static site, better to switch branch to gh-pages to enable web previews

Remove the appropriate one. 😄
