Reviewer1 asks us to state both the versions of scikit-image and Python itself.

BMC Oral Health suggests that

authors [...] share their raw data, either by providing it in a supplementary file or depositing it in a public repository and providing the details on how to access it in this section.

Reviewer1 suggest to to create a process flow chart or pipeline to exemplify the method used.

The same as statsmodels (see issue #4), we should properly cite Dask, according to https://docs.dask.org/en/latest/cite.html

According to BMC Oral Health we need to

I'd like to have an internal reference to the 'cropping' section in the 'Results and discussion' section, but this does not work.

Reviewer1 asks us to be mor precise in describing what the functions return.

For example, in the subsection 'Dataset cropping' the text: "... removed small noise by removing small speckles with the remove_small_object function of scikit-image .. ",
what does this function do?
It remove objects smaller than the specified size and connectivity.
But what was the size and connectivity chosen?

According to BMC Oral Health we need to

provide a declaration section which includes Ethics approval and consent to participate, Consent for publication, Availability of data and materials, Competing interests, Funding, Authors' contribution, Acknowledgements,**Author's information (optional).
