Also, CDATA blocks can not be used for attributes.

However, this should not be fixed on the side of the objects, but within pfPrcHelper.

Do we care if PRC is actually valid XML? It is XML-like, but without pulling in a full XML library trying to get all the quirks of that standard implemented seems like a lot of effort for little to no gain. libHSPlasma is a much better interface for operating on Plasma data than parsing PRC using an XML tool.

If you're using the libHSPlasma interface to operate, then PRC probably doesn't concern you, but if you are using PRCs there's a good chance that a reasonable expectation of being well-formed is desirable.

That's kind of my point - It is my understanding that PRC is intended as a human-readable (NOT machine-readable) format. If you need a machine to read Plasma data, don't parse PRC. Use libHSPlasma.

What branan says is true -- HOWEVER, it is also possible that, as PRC stands now, the PRC parser could still itself be broken by quotes. Therefore, I'm making a quick change to use entities for the usual chars.
