If we want to utilize concentration changes in the double-spent media, we need to estimate the initial concentration of metabolites in the spent media in which a strain was grown.

This isn't trivial, because a sample for the actual batch of spent media was not run on NMR; for now, we should just average the integrals across the 4 spent media replicates. In the future, it might be best to use a distribution.
