Can you provide a link to pivotal?

Looks cool! -- I found http://pypi.python.org/pypi/pivotaltracker/0.0.3 which is a python API for pivotal that could be a big help.
I currently don't use pivotal at all but would definitely accept patches to make it happen.
I think its definitely possible. Bugwarrior (as a cron task) is one option here. Another is to wait for the release of taskwarrior 2.0 and the accompanying task server (taskd).
Bugwarrior would run periodically and pull new stories (tasks) from pivotal.
taskd would listen for new pushed events from pivotal (which apparently is quite configurable).

Rad, thanks Ralph! I'll get working on it.

Any progress on this, @ulisesrmzroche ?

I was real busy at work when I started this, but it's cool now.
Forked the project and then, good news! Now taskd is out. What do ya'll think of using that solution now?

According to http://tasktools.org/, taskd
isn't actually available yet. :)
I'm waiting for it anxiously!

I'm reading source code right now and writing the Pivotal Tracker service. I'll give an ETA after this first stab.

I'm not using Pivotal anymore, so I'd like to wait for taskd to come out and play with that, if that's ok.

Sure thing. Do you think it makes sense to close this ticket, @ulisesrmzroche?
from bugwarrior.
If you have any spare cycles, @wookiehangover it would be cool to have as a part of bugwarrior. But as it stands if neither of you can implement it, it won't get done. :)

I think it makes sense to close the ticket for now. I'm more excited about taskd now that I'm reading more up on it.
