Use internal CSS files for the theme picker

should be

So that the themes can be used in other contexts.

Also verify that they work in Quarto with theme: none (or other appropriate theme option).

Currently, if self_contained = TRUE and a theme is specified, all CSS files are still being copied (declared as dependency).

I went with cleanrmd because all themes style bare html with a secondary goal of small, low-dependency Rmd outputs. Other ideas include

• classy
• classyrmd
• classless

Open to suggestions....

The default branch of this repository is being moved from master to `main. This issue will be closed when the default branch has been changed.

Hi,

Thank you for this package. cleanrmd forces my markdown file to appear on the left of the screen, instead of the centre. The issue is not present when I use

cleanrmd::html_document_clean:
theme: NULL

But it is present whenever I specify a theme, e.g.:

output:
cleanrmd::html_document_clean:
theme: water-dark

maybe also add or replace with option for higlightjs

Vincent Doerig's github repo that contains the template for the latex.css theme has a new font integrated (Libertinus, see here).

This font however is not downloaded autmatically when installing the cleanrmd package which causes knitting to fail.
