on two seperate saves the changeling focus tree changed while i was mid focus from the standard tree to what i think is the Thorax tree. I never went down Thorax path. First time it happened right affter Unite the nation, Second time it happened while in the middle of Support Chrysalis focus

Feudal puppets for sure - if we want to go overboard, we can separate puppets into:
Feudal puppets - for griffon nations
Autonomous states - formally parts of a country, but with a measure of autonomy (example: EQS puppeted SCS, CES, EQC - maybe CRY)
Regular puppet - foreign nations that have been conquered
Fascist puppets - as in vanilla

A better system of faction joining to prevent AI from making stupid/immersion breaking decisions. Most likely remove the ability to join factions, and use events/focuses/decisions instead.

A toogleable option for the player is to be explored when the next game update drops.
