Both V1.4.00 and V1.3.03 can't open this file

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a new project file from GEditor

The default description pane text spells "by" as "be"

Currently you can send a *.ipss file or a custom file to another. InterPSS
can import these files into the workspace. However, the project info
accociated with the case stored in IpssDB gets lost during the process. An
import/export function needs to be added.

Create a graphic project, run LF : Saving by SaveButton does not update 
the *tab or possibly changedProperty.
Close - save - reopen. Now save works as expected

After a loadflow run, one can see a summary report and a bus-stype report
in a text window. User would like save the report into a text file. 

Under Windows there is a Log Console, where you can see log and error
messages. For transient stability simulation, especially for debug, the log
console may have thousands of entries. We should have a way to clear the
current log messages.

There is a need to convert InterPSS graphic file into certain format, which
may be read by other simulation programs. The InterPSS team will provide a
sample and associated document to outline steps to write a converter program.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Currently one can import a data file in custom format, including IEEE,
PSS/E, PSAT and InterPSS internal format. The current process, also is
working, could be improved to better assistant user to import a custom file.

A details specification will be attached.

Its me again, and sadly to speak, I was still unable to find out how to
specify that this is not a defect but a suggestion. My apology to the
interpss team designers who selflessly perfecting interpss while I am
suggesting ideas as easy as keying them in sentences.

This is a suggestion not a defect.

1) I noticed that in the samples provided for loadflow analysis and
transient simulation, generator or load symbols are not required as they
are spcified in the bus's pop up window. In this way, it may become
difficult to tell in a large network which bus has generator (and/ or load)
connected to it, which bus has PQ generator or load connected to it, which
bus has PV generator connected to it. Otherwise user would have to either
click on each bus to find out or remember them by hard. I wonder if it is
worth teh effort to automatically generate appropriate symbol (type of
generator <S for swing, PV fro PV and PQ for PQ> and load symbols attached
to ethbus based on teh data entered for that bus component? The user should
be able to move around the automatically generated generator and load
symbols around the bus connected, otherwise when teh network get too big,
there will be congestion?

Can't import ieee common format file.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I have a 2 machine and a infinite bus, 9 bus system. I include a Power
system stabilizer with CML to machine 1 of my system and it works
well.Then, I include a PSS with CML to the second machine, and it works
well, but the first PSS doesn´t work, gives me a zero signal.
2. They works fine separately.
3. I use the exciter with CML and the included in Interpss, but makes no
difference.

InterPSS_1.2.04-Dev . I use this version because with the newer ones
(1.2.07) I can´t make Load Changes (it gives me an error).

When clike-->select workshop--> ws, the software would be shut down.

If the user does not follow the typically expected reporting path, the 
creation of reports can fail to populate

mis-spelled the word diagram to disgram in tne end of line one.

The following event types should be added:

    - Step change to setpoint (of any of the controllers)
    - Line tripping --> recalculation of admittance matrix --> and continue
    - A line fault - trip - reclose event

1) I noticed that every component can be changed into in-service or
out-of-service by clicking the out-of-service box of the component. I was
thinking that it may be worth while to make an out-of-service line RED or
dotted.

2) As for an equipment, create a thick RED cross over it when it is put
out-of-service.

It just can't be opened in V1.4.00,but V1.3.03 is OK

Do dstab simu for DStab-5Bus.ipss and BusScripting-5Bus.ipss respectively,
then I plot the curves for them,and they are different from each other.

I think there is something wrong with DStab-5Bus.ipss.

The pictures in attachment show the difference.

There is a file named "AclfSummary_SimpleExciter.ipssrpt" in the place 
C:\Program Files\InterPSS_Editor\sample_ws\CML_test

I can't find it in SW-- CML_test -- SimpleExciter.ipss

It should be appeared or not?

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Execute the InterPSS aplication under a different (i.e. Spanish) 
default Locale

2. Run any tool (i.e. LF), the appearing window contains textboxes 
allowing to input some parameter, such as Acc. factor for GS. It appears 
'1,0' in the textbox

3. When parameters are read back from the textbox an exception is raised 
complainig about the format because it is expecting '1.0';

It happens with any window and any textbox.

It seems that, when the variable is writen into the IU object the default 
locale comes into place [kind of new Textbox(String.valueOf(dTolerance))] 
but when reading it back an especial parser comes into operation instead 
of the former.

InterPSS v1.1.0.0beta on WindowsXP SP2

Inkoving InterPSS like java -Duser.language=en ... serves as temporal 
workaround.

When seting x=0 or R=0, there is not any err message. When both x and R are
set to 0,err displayed.

When running a loadflow, if it does not converage, only after closing the
summary window is a message window shown to indicate results did not
converge. It would seem nicer to bring the messagewindow to the main focus.
Modifying the Acc factor does appear to have an effect, although I don't
obtain a feasable solution using this method for any case.

1. Trying to run a load flow of any sample.
2. I have the regional configuration of Spain, where "," and "." are 
opposite.

I think it has to do with the regional configuration and the "," "." 
difference. I tried changing it in the control panel with no success. 

After a Loadflow run, user should be able to save the result to a separate
file in the same IEEE Common Format.

again this is not a defect but a suggestion to be considered.

1) I noticed that teh sc algorithm is very user friendly. can I suggest if
it is possible to after specifying location of fault create a short circuit
symbol (e.g. zig zag arrow with 3ph, 2phE, 2ph, 1phE little words beside
it) to remind the user where was the fault applied? The reason is , when in
a large network, testing of different faults at differnent location may be
required and it would be hard to remebr by then? 

2) speaking of sc analysis, is it possible to have a feature to
automatically apply specified fault at every bus one after another and
collate teh report.  In this case, it may not be required to have teh sc
symbol, however, if it is not worth the time to make it without the symbol,
making teh sc symbol appear and disappear when the next sc is applied in
teh automation of teh API driving API may be good?

The current branch annotation label format is 1024.0 Amps(1.6pu). This is

I made a few additions to my file 'DVC_00' yesterday. I then switched to
the ieee118 example and started LF run. As usual I got the message that the
LF run does not converge. I am particularly interested in such cases
because my network also does not converge in other programs such as PSS/E
and UWPFLOW. While closing the editor I was asked if I wanted to save
DVC_00 to which I said yes and was then asked if I wanted to save ieee118
to which I said no. The program closed without any hitches. When I tried
opening DVC_00 fifteen minutes I get the above mentioned error.

events. Spring ApplicationContext also offers similar event dispatching
capability. InterPSS IPSSMsgHub's functionality needs to be migrated and
retired.

re-launch the software to confirm the new setting.

1) Is there a posibility to develope a small
function that calculate overhead line
impedance in Ohms/km and Ohms/miles based on inputs of tower lines
orientation and spacing fro different types of HV tower? 

2) In addition to item (1) above, is it
possible to create a database of default tower
configuration, spacing, earth resistivity and a picture of these parameters
to allow user to enter custom value or choose teh default values?

I sincerely think that with these features made possible and most
importantly user friendly, it would be present to all power system engineers.

2. close the entire InterPSS
3. an box asking for saving your changes or not will display

I have reached Interwiki last week. But the server is too busy message i
get nowadays.

Each branch should defined three mav ratings. After a loadflow run, branch
mva flow should check against these ratings.

In graphic editor, when copy/pasting a branch object, it is not possible 
to change the to and from text fields.

Dragging a line connection handle to another bus does not update the 
fromField or toField

This behaviour breaks the model.

Using the test case "IEEE14bus.ipss" for load flow. The option to adjust

In the transient stability controller model development process, it would

1) Is there a possibility to model a pi representation
of a long transmission line since long line has
charging current at high voltage level. It may not be
a good idea to enter B/2 at each end of the busbar?

2) is it also possible to use the pi model for short line by entering 0 in
the B/2 fields without causing any errors in algorithm?

   计算潮流后，对于每一个节点判断其潮流方程是否成立：


   其中Ｐ，Ｑ，Ｖ，theta取自计算后节点信息。

   G和B不是取自潮流给出的Y矩阵。而是由与I节点相连的线路的G和B计算（透明胶片
叠加）；考虑了shuntB和shuntG，考虑了LineB/2,考虑了变压器。 

测试结果：

      IEEE3节点,IEEE30节点，上海数据都可以通过测试，但是IEEE300节点测试通不
过（有16个节点不能通过测试），通过不断猜测和测试，发现
在两种情况下算不对。

情况1.

      当一个节点所连接的线路中存在lineB是负数的情况，潮流等式不成立。
IEEE300节点中有6条线路的lineB是负数，对应12个节点的测试全��
�不能通过。而其他
测试数据没有lineB<0的情况，如果在其他测试数据中如果把某�
��线路的lineB改为负
数，则测试会变得不能通过。此时如果在计算潮流等式的Bii��
�中不把lineB/2考虑在
内（即当成0），则潮流等式成立。所以我觉得很可能是潮流�
��序对lineB仅仅作了大
于0则计算，而遗漏小于0的情况。当然，也许是lineB<0的情况��
�实际情况不相符合，
被视为错误数据。

情况2.

      当某一个节点只连接了一条线路，且这条线路存在变压器，且这条线路的lineB
不等于0的情况下。则这条线路连接的两个节点的潮流方程不�
��立。IEEE300的数据节
点222和节点227属于这种情况，连接222的线路是222-237，连接227�

227，所以上述四个节点的潮流方程不成立。与情况1类似，在�

3. Wizard Project Data Editor --> leaves defaults, but :

Tick in Load Schedule Analysis
Default for number of Load Points is 24. Put it to 25 or any number
exceeding 24. Click "Save".

InterPSS should create the new project, but instead freezes with the
Project Data Editor remaining open. No action inside InterPSS seems to be
possible.
