Subsurface mask source bug

The Subsurface mask source of the CP_SSSSS_Object seems broken. No matter which source (separate texture/No mask) I use and It alway uses the "Main texture from current material (A)" as the mask.
Am I missing something ?

Btw, It renders great SSS effect in unity! Thank you for sharing.

How to use it?

I follow your instruction to set up the scene as following, but it seems nothing happened.

  1. Put the files into any folder in your .../Assets/Resources folder
  2. Attach the CP_SSSSS_Main script to your main camera
  3. Attach CP_SSSSS_Object script to any Renderer object that you want to have subsurface scattering on

Does I need to set your shader to my model manually? Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks!

Mask Again

You've really done a fantastic job on this shader, really great asset to the community, and for free!

I am seeing a problem, It seems no matter which mask I use, in the 5.4.2 editor for the object, the entire screen area is affected by the SSS. Does the object to be rendered with SSS require a alpha channel in its texture? It seems you are not using a stencil mask, but a different approach.

Thanks again for such a great job, I hope to see this shader developed more.
