I was wondering if it would be possible to parse the message before displaying it to check for links and wrap them in an anchor tag.
Im not sure if this will open it in the browser or not but currently if you highlight a link and right click under services you can open the url. So i'm sure there has got to be a way to link it.
I don't know node all that well but I can fork it and mess around.

could you also make the [

so they can be overridden respectively?
Love the plugin.
For the initial version, allow multiple channels on the same server.
There should be a mechanism to switch between the channels on the IRC pane. (Probably some tabs at the bottom, next to the text input).
How do I set up the Irc settings to be able to connect to an IRC channel, e.g. irc://chat.freenode.net/#haxeflixel
?

When the chat window is open (after being closed), perhaps serialize the height position of the window currently and scroll to that position on restore of the window.
Alternatively, always scroll to the end on window open.
The spec runner was auto created, but needs fleshed out.
Allow for connect and disconnect from the IRC view (probably below the text input).
If anyone is interested in taking over ownership of this repo, please let me know.

atom.workspaceView is no longer available.
In most cases you will not need the view. See the Workspace docs for
alternatives: https://atom.io/docs/api/latest/Workspace.
If you do need the view, please use atom.views.getView(atom.workspace)
,
which returns an HTMLElement.

Hi I'm getting
Uncaught RangeError: Port should be >0 and <65536
from net.js.
This happens even when I set port numbers 6665-6670 in package settings.
I know this package is still in progress so I am wondering if that is normal for now or if it is a problem on my end.
