I get this error when try to run DeepMeerkat:

videos are in .avi format and open normally.
I'm using a macOS Monterrey.

User reports that the default video runs fine, but a .tlv extension video hangs without any inputs.

I've tried every single solution but it doesn't work. I can click on the file to open it and it won't show me the error message. However, the app would only have it icon pops up for a second then immediately quit itself. Any solution for this?

When a file is completed the input file name is the default on the results screen.

even though a non-input file was run, and correctly processed.

A couple users have reported an intermittent error on mutlithreaded running on Windows only.

I have not been able to replicate this error, but my current belief is that it has to do with the codecs on the individual computer. If you get this error, please give as much detail as possible.

I have tried to install DeepMeerkat on MacOS using the instructions but the GUI still does not open.

DeepMeerkat needs a benchmark frames per second on the default video and a clearer understanding of the bottlenecks in time running.

Running videos in a single threaded mode works fine, but multithreaded produces just the .csv files.

If a user changes the default model, they shouldn't have to reset it every time. This could be a backdoor way of changing size thresholds as well.

The names in the progress screen don't update based on user selected input files.

OSX users have reported some trouble installing. Below are a few options.

1. First try installing the dmg normally. Double click the .dmg and drag DeepMeerkat into applications folder. Attempt to run. If you get an error message, it is because of OSX gatekeeper trying to protect you from non-mac identified software.

I have found that pre OSX Sierra, the above works without issue. On OSX Sierra, try the solutions outlined below. To check your OSX version go to the apple icon in the top left and select "About this Mac". Mine looks like

OSX users must allow non-identified developer app.

Open DeepMeerkat app after dragging it to applications folder. It will give warnings about unidentified developer. Go to System Preferences -> Security, and select open anyways (it will appear after you try to open DeepMeerkat and are denied).
