So I guess this is a consequence of setting Browsers as the default browser, and thus expected behavior. But then, what is the purpose of the "Quit" option?
Exactly. One of the goals I try to achieve is that it's not running in the background as most other similar apps do. Instead if will start up as fast as possible and quit if not needed anymore.
The purpose of the "Quit" options is just to have some GUI option to quit the app without pressing Escape.

Thanks, make sense. I'll close this issue then.
