mbed-hdk's Issues

Add readme to DAPLink projects

Need to add readme to DAPLink projects folder that contains a brief description of what DAPLink is and where to find the software. Needs to link to the DAPLink project. Should also mention that the reference circuits are provided in the eagle library for ease of use.

DAP firmware not working

Hi,
I ordered four HAT units from local Fab, i have carefully checked soldering then plugged it into USB, CRP DISABLD volume could enumerate after the first power up. Then i follow instructions to flash the DAP by using lpc11u35_6lowpan_borderrouterhat_if_crc.bin.

However after flash, (both windows, Linux and mac dd, 2.xx sec write time), DAP power LED not light up, and USB device could not be detected by using lsusb nor dmesg.

I am still checking my board against design files in the repo. Could you provide me some hardware debugging hint?

P.S. T2 (usb mos gate pin become 0v after flash, but LED power pin is high) have been double checked, firmware could be working, but the USB port is NOT.

Add 'How to use' instructions

Problem

For someone unfamiliar with Eagle it is not clear how to use the libraries in the HDK. Ie are they required to add the libraries one by one, or copy / paste them into the eagle /lbr folder? ..etc

Solution

Add a short section in the readme on what the expected use flow for the HDK is. Need to provide a sensible default flow.

Step files for any of these?

Great board, it would be immensely helpful to me if you had the 3D files of the mbed application shield. Step/Solidworks?

Thanks

DAPLink of the LPC2148 missing

I have noticed, that the current interface chip the LPC2148 used on the mbed LPC1768 isn't included in the HDK. Why isn't it in the HDK?

EDIT:
Oh, I found something on the forum:
https://os.mbed.com/questions/76861/mbed-IF01/
So it's more for keeping it a secret. But isn't it possible to possible to provide a compiled file to directly program it onto the LPC2148?
