Not every purchaser of your hardware (Argon One V3) will use a destop variant of ubuntu/rasberry pi os etc and I think quite a few will use it only as a media player running Libreelec but these files are older than time. python 2 has been depreciated for many many years as has rpi.gpio. when the new rpi hardware chaged the old way of using gpio was also left behind. This repo is at least 2 years out of date code wise and the last updates were 3 years ago.

this Libreelec addon needs some serious rewriting to bring it up to the current standards.
