Thank you very much for the tutorial !!!
I made the drone for my children (see photos).
I can't get it to take off in a stable manner. It always goes to one side just by increasing the throttle (I use my phone and udp joystick) and it always ends up turning around. I checked that the propellers are ok and in the right place.
If you have any idea what I could check.
Thank you so much
Karim
In your present circuit design, what function does zener diode serve when attached to gate of mosfet? When mosfet is turned off where does back emf from motor go? I think back emf would fry mosfet in long run. A flyback 5819 schottky diode at drain of mosfet blocking from vcc seems fine for the purpose.
I successfully compiled the code on a pico w . I wired only the accelerometer . I do not get any error on the serial but no hotspot is created . Do i need to wire everything to be able get the hotspot ?
The PCB for the quadcopter was not designed to support a FPV camera but the Lipo battery can potentially have enough current to power a small 25mW FPV camera. The type of connector on the FPV camera is a female XS JST connector.
The PCB should have through holes for male XS JST connector to power the camera via the Lipo battery.
