osdisplay's Issues

Multiple calls

Currently the images show synchronously (the first task has to end before the next can begin).
I believe the an option to have it such that the latest image overrides previous images (similar to how the volume or brightness bar doesn't show a completely new image) would be better.

I am looking into how to implement this functionality however would appreciate if anyone has an idea where to start as. I believe a listener would be needed to get new calls in realtime.

Needs better 'fadeOut' animation

Hi.

Firstly... awesome work! This goes great with this.

More of an aesthetic thing... but It looks as though the image fades and THEN the backdrop just vanishes sharply... is there any way you can make it more 'authentic' and fade together as with the stock look? please ;)

Keep up the great work!

Shorter delay

This is awesome. I just wish I could set the delay to less than 1 second.
Maybe expressed as millisecs?
Or allow 0.2?
Thank you!

Documentation and Usage

I just ran across this from @Saman-VDR's comment on ddcctl. Looks intriguing. I was looking for a tool to do the OSD sort of stuff. Am I correct that it's not complete yet? Also, does it actually do any controlling yet? or just show the images?
