Update code and documentation to save date time stamps as UTC instead of PST. Users can add their time offsets to their captured data. UTC will be the standard for the base code.

Whenever, a key is required the waste watcher repo can send post requests using an api key.

Tokens is a possible option.

To ensure reliability of fullness data we want to try implementing this approach.

1. collect 9 fullness data points
2. sort the data points
3. Take the middle 5 values and take the average
4. Return that average as the fullness data

Once API is updated in the zbce_api repo. Update the Arduino code to use the bin id as the image name.

Need to create a structural enclosure for the sensor module and upload STL file to this repo

Update broken links and fix mistake with circuit diagram.

v1 will only consist of camera and ultrasonic sensor

Need some research to be done in how to integrate a Hx711 and load cell to our ESP32 CAM. This will help us collect the waste metrics for Waste Watcher.

When others build this project it would be good to have some unit tests to see if everything on the software side is working while also checking some of the hardware. Having unit tests would be a useful feature and would be a great sanity checker.

Here are a couple possible tests to write (feel free to add more):

• ultrasonic sensor reading works
• photos can be taken
• flash turns on and off appropriately
• deep sleep works
• network is successfully connected
