💻 Getting Started

Describe how a new developer could make use of your project.

To get a local copy up and running, follow these steps.

Prerequisites

In order to run this project you need:

 gem install rails

Setup

Clone this repository to your desired folder:

  cd my-folder
  git clone https://github.com/ZikaZaki/vespa-backend.git

Install

Install this project with:

  cd budget-app
  bundle install
  rails db:create
  rails db:migrate 
  rails db:seed

Usage

To run the project, execute the following command:

  rails server -p 3001

Run tests

To run tests, run the following command:

  rspec

Create the Reservations controller.
Add the index action which shows the my-reservations (user reservations).
Add all other necessary actions for CRUD operations.

Create the Reservation model with the following fields:
- city_id (foreign key city table).
- user_id (foreign key user table).
- bike_id (foreign key bike/motor table).

The user logs in to the website using their username.
Proper authenticated login is required for teams of 5 people.
The user should be able to access the site after a successful login.

Create the City model with the following fields:
- name field.
- image url.
- description field.

[4pt] Create & setup the Rails API app (group task).

Create a separate repository for the Rails API app.
Create a new Rails API app using this command rails new my_api_app --database=postgresql --api.
Setup linters for the project.
