jetpack-navigation-ftue-sample's Introduction

Jetpack Navigation + Fragments + NavGraphs + SavedStateHandle + Dagger-Hilt + EventEmitter (toasts / navigation commands)

This is a sample repository for the aforementioned tools (primarily Jetpack Navigation + NavGraph-scoped ViewModel + SavedStateHandle + Dagger-Hilt).

It can be directly compared against the Simple-Stack FTUE Sample using RxJava.

jetpack-navigation-ftue-sample's Issues

Deep linking

How would you deep link in this setup? I have tried to add deep link for the profile fragment similar to the basic navigation sample from jetpack repo, to see what happens and it basically just starts to the login page. I also cannot catch this intent in the MainActivity to navigate manually

Issue with shared preferences || Nav destination is unknown to navController

On finishing the registration flow , i have noticed that the username field would often not get saved to shared prefs ( verified by pulling the shared prefs xml from device) ie Empty map.
When the username field did get saved , the app would crash on launch with following crash log

OS: Android 10
App built from master @ b3fbbf7
